Maine Coons as a breed are inherently good-natured, but any cat
should be properly socialized. Our cats and kittens are part of our
family. They all get to roam the house freely, though we take care to
keep the males and fertile females separated to avoid an oops!
Our Maine Coons get lots of play time and attention throughout the day,
and also get to play with the other denizens of our home. Here are some
pictures of everyone and their antics.

Hemi is an altered rescue cat
and Queen of the house. She's 0% Maine Coon but
100%
lovable. Hemi loves to fetch, and got her name because she purrs
like an engine.

I'm so TENSE!!!!!

Sure the view outside is nice, but those
tissues are much more interesting!

I can help you with that knitting if
you want.

Let's play King of the Garbage Can!

Gizzy gives us her best deer-in-the-headlights look.

It's been a long day.

Find someplace else to wash your hands.
This sink is taken.

I'm not moving from this spot unless there's food involved.

Katrina is no longer with us.
She died just one month shy of her 20th birthday.
She's was part Maine Coon, Queen of the House (if not the Universe),
and the
inspiration for starting our cattery. Cuddly, noisy, and always in
charge... she is missed. |
